The Echo Vocal Arts Alliance (EVAA) - formerly known as the Amy Ferguson Institute - is a nonprofit organization that supports, produces and promotes vocal arts in the West Kootenay region.

The Echo Vocal Arts Alliance (EVAA) - formerly known as the Amy Ferguson Institute, was founded in 2000 to celebrate the musical legacy of Dr. Amy Ferguson. EVAA plays a vital role in feeding the communities it serves with performances, workshops, awards and other creative vocal events.

The West Kootenay region is located in the south eastern corner of British Columbia, Canada.

What is EVAA?

Does EVAA have awards?

EVAA offers a variety of awards to citizens residing in the West Kootenay region. Applications vary from bursary to scholarship and at different times of the year. Visit our Awards tab to find out more.

Youth are able to apply for funding to assist with their music lessons.
